Yamaho Yama in America (2012)

Balu (Sai Ram Shankar) is a young lad who is fated to die at the age of 25, as per his horoscope. In order to prevent this, his grandmother (Rama Prabha) makes him a devotee of Lord Yama (Srihari) in order to avert this. As Balu approaches the age of 25 years, Ram Prabha decides to send the young lad to USA. Balu roams around without any responsibilities and ends up as a good for nothing lad.

In order to mend Balu’s ways, none other than Lord Yama enters the fray. He decides to travel to the USA and help out the kid. But even the great Yama fails to mend Balu and that is when he realises that Balu needs to fall in love to become a better person.

He makes Balu fall in love with Swapna (Parvati Melton) and the rest of the movie is about how Balu becomes a better person.

Sevakudu (2012)

Ramachandrayya (Nasser) is a sincere police officer who places duty and profession ahead of family. He wants his son Surya (Srikanth) to be a police officer but Surya is not interested. He wants to go to the US and settle down there. 

Meanwhile, Krishna Prasad (Krishna) is a very rich NRI who wants to come back to India and do something good for his homeland. He tries to invest all that money here to improve the lives of people.

This is opposed by goons like Balaram Jadoo (Pradeep Rawat). Balaram gets Krishna Prasad killed and Ramachandrayya also loses his life in this attack. It is now up to Surya and Krishna Prasad’s daughter Manjula (Manjula) to avenge their deaths.

How they go about it and what challenges they face forms the story of ‘Sevakudu’.

Bommali .... Ninnodhala (2012)

Shakthi as s Coolie satisfied with a bun and tea is very powerful in strength. This strength is what Anjanappa capitalize to meet his ends. For the rival of Anjanappa this Shakthi is a big answer. In the house of Anjanappa his daughter falling in love with other caste boy is the issue. 

As declared by her master Shakthi sees to it not a drop of tear is fallen from her eyes. In the process Shakthi is forced to save Swathi and Vijay. That lands her in a big chase and fight. She goes to ICU for treatment. At this place the cop who brought up Shakthi describe who she is all about.
 
Shakthi is Chamundi in the flash back. As an IPS officer she takes on one major file of death of 30 children in an accident. Although Chamundi is successful in sending the PWD minister to prison she is transferred to Rayadurga headed by Rudramma and two of her sons. 

It is at this place Chamundi exhibits the power and finds big attack. From that attack she loses her memory but not the power.

Moksha (2013)

Moksha (Meera Jasmine) is a pampered girl. Her father, single after her mother's death, dotes on her so much that he will not even accept her step into the kitchen. Or even step out of the house, as we see later. The only time she seems to step out of her flat as her neighbour Srinu (Rajeev Mohan) observes is during the night.

Srinu's friends rag him at college and there's a vamp who tries to cling on to him. Instead, Srinu prefers the vampire - not knowing that only human blood can satisfy her thirst and hunger. Meanwhile, there are mysterious murders in town. There's no clue to the serial killings which happen at night. No, the killer isn't Moksha.

Moksha hardly talks but she infuses confidence in Srinu as their friendship gets stronger. The timid Srinu gives his college mates a taste of what he can dish out if he were to get real angry. No, Srinu does not use that knife is secretly carries in his college bag and does not kill.

But who is behind those mystery murders? You'd have to wait until the interval and the chilling fact is revealed. Moksha's father, a security guard (Nassar) is the killer on the prowl. He kills and Moksha sucks the blood of the victim. On one occasion, he's caught and the victim he is after, throws acid on his face. Death is inevitable. Moksha does not hesitate to even kill her father, at his own request, and suck his blood.

How then does the loving daughter turn into a vampire and still be a human?

Operation Duryodhana 2 (2013)

Chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy dies in a helicopter crash. A senior minister in the cabinet takes it for granted that he would be the next natural choice and even accepts felicitations from his partymen. He is in for a shock when someone who has not even been a minister is nominated by the party high command to occupy the CM's chair.

Home minister Venkatadri (Kota Srinivasa Rao) tries to get the chief minister into trouble. Caught with Rs 500 crore black money, the driver of the ambulance in which the money is being transported tells the police that it is chief minister Erasu's money. Erasu is keen that the truth should come out.

With a sniper in hand, locking himself up in a room in a huge complex, looking through a tele lens, the man who is supposed to get the crooks on their knees, is up to his game. The target is Krishna (Posani Krishnamurali). Well, the man is as funny as he can be. He is the link to a hawala agent.

Jagapathi Babu as CBI officer Ashok goes about his job in a planned manner, literally freezing Krishna to death in a public telephone booth. Krishna spills the beans about who the Rs 500 crore black money belonged to and how the senior minister had stuffed away as much as Rs 45,000 crore in Swiss banks. The chief minister is relieved that the truth has been brought out. Coming out with a `clean' tag.

Mallanna (2009)

Mallanna (Vikram) is a senior CBI officer who wants to flush out the black money floating around to help the poor. To do this, he adopts an alter-ego of secret masked crusader called Mallanna who answers all the requests that devotees leave outside the famous Mallanna temple. This masked Mallanna has a loyal crack team who help him in these Robinhood adventures. 

The movie starts off with him raiding the powerful PPP (Ashish Vidyarthi) who decides to get even with him by using his daughter Subbalakshmi (Shriya). Soon, Mallanna and Shriya are singing songs while another DIG Prabhu is trying to unravel Mallanna's secret identity. The second half is about how Mallanna joins PPP to unravel a money-laundering ring that operates out of Mexico while being chased by Prabhu. 

By the end of the movie, he has exposed all the corrupt elements alongwith his identity as the masked Mallanna. All through the film, Mallanna keeps talking about how black money can help out in the nation's progress.

Binami.... Vela Kotlu (2012)

Rajan Vasudev (Kalabhavan Mani) is an intolerable tycoon who runs the OPM Group of companies spread across the globe. Uday (Vinay Rai) is his only son, a spoilt kid who drives a Ferrari and hangs out with his constant companion Madan (Yuva) and Kaduku (Santhanam) along with a bodyguard (Alse Ram).

Uday meets Eashwari (Kajal Aggarwal) a student and in a funny turn of events makes her his maid servant. Soon Madan falls in love with Eashwari who has fallen for Uday.

An assassin is hired by rivals of Rajan Vasudev to knock off Uday the only heir to the business empire. But in a bizarre twist, the killer accidentally kills Madan, and Rajan is heartbroken as we find that it was actually Madan who was his real son, while Uday was just a ‘Benami’.

A heart broken Rajan abandons Uday who is left in the streets overnight as he is not needed any longer. The rest of the plot is how Uday with the help of Chanakyan (VMC Haneefa), turns the table on his foster dad and gets back his wealth.

NH 4 (2013)


Prabhu (Siddharth) and his friends discuss the route from Bengaluru to Chennai and plan to kidnap Rithika (Ashrita Shetty). Meanwhile her dad appoints encounter specialist Manoj Menon (Kay Kay Menon) who questions Rithika's male friend about Prabhu. The guy claims that Prabhu is a drug addict and was always trying to woo Rithika, who started to avoid him because of Prabhu. After that the plot continues when Manoj tries to track Prabhu and his friends. In the attempt, they track down a message from another friend asking Prabhu and friends to come to Bangarpet bus stand only to find Manoj and his team arresting the guy for more information. 

Manoj goes to a railway station where the train in which Prabhu and Rithika are travelling to Chennai. He finds Rithika and forcefully drags her into his jeep. As the flashback winds again (this time by Rithika), she fell for Prabhu after seeing him on many instances showing his presence of mind.As the flashback ends, Manoj finds Prabhu on the highway where he doesn't stop until he runs over pieces of glass put down by Prabhu. They get into a brawl where Prabhu loses and Manoj continues in the highway but has to stop in a railway signal. 

Prabhu takes his chance and threatens Manoj keeping his throat under a blade and taking Rithika with him. After a cat and mouse chase, Manoj calls Prabhu saying that his friend needs immediate treatment after an accident.He goes in search of Manoj and involves in a fight with him again. Now, after the stroke of midnight Rithika turns 18 giving her the right for choosing her partner. After that Manoj leaves the Highway as he couldn't do anymore according to law.

Arundathi Nakshtram (2009)

Three girl students are found to have committed suicide in a boarding school in Alwaye under mysterious circumstances. Their boyfriends are interrogated by the cops, and one of them, Ananthu goes into depression. He happens to be the boyfriend of one of the dead girls, Gowri. The case remains unresolved.

A year later, investigating officer Sreekanth's niece Parvati joins the school, and is given the same room where Gowri used to stay. Soon Parvati starts acting weird, which is noted by her classmates, and even the school driver and peon start to also see Gowri appearing at night in the school corridors. Gowri's spirit soon appears before Parvati, seeking her help. At times, it also gets into Parvati, making her act possessed. It even makes Parvati go to Ananthu's house and cheer him up. It is then shown that Gowri and her two friends were very happy go lucky characters in the school, and something happens during a picnic which changes their lives forever.

The film then moves to Aloyshi, the school music and dance teacher, and a lecturer Jennifer, who seem to be very friendly. Aloyshi takes a liking for Parvati, and encourages her to give splendid performances at all college functions, which she does, as Gowri's spirit would be doing that for her. Soon afterwards, Gowri's spirit, in the guise of Parvati, goes to Jennifer's house and immolates the whole place, killing her. Sreekanth sees a laptop at Jennifer's house and gets it repaired. Later, he finds Jennifer's laptop loaded with nude pictures of the girls staying in the hotel. He orders investigation into the matter. Sreekanth also comes to know that Jennifer was an immoral woman. He visits Aloyshi and notes that the latter is a very shady character.

Adhinayakudu (2012)

Balakrishna portrays three characters in this movie – Harischandra Prasad (old man) , Rama Krishna Prasad (bearded man) and Bobby (younger Balayya). Harischandra Prasad is a powerful leader from Rayalaseema and he has the love of the people.

In order to provide employment to the people of the area, Harischandra Prasad plans to bring in a major steel plant  with the help of foreign investors. This is resented by powerful rival factionists Ramappa (Pradeep Rawat) and Kota Srinivasa Rao. So they hatch a plan to finish off Harischandra Prasad. Coming to know about this, Rama Krishna Prasad thwarts the plans of the villains and tries his best to follow his father’s footsteps.

But in a cruel twist, the villains strike at the heart of the family by manipulating Bobby. How do they do it? What is the twist? And will the family succeed in its attempt to empower the Rayalaseema region? That forms the story.

Sathi Leelavathi (2012)

Kanimozhi(Sunitha Verma), a doctor by profession, is drawn to the Ravi because of his life-saving act and ultimately decides to marry him. She overlooks Ravi's brutal past life during when he had murdered many including Sengudi (Asmitha), who was with him right from the childhood days. She loves him but he appears quite satisfied by using her whenever he's driven by his sexual urge.

Believing that she could change him for the better Kani marries him after his return from the prison after a jail term. Ravi looks like a changed man after emerging from jail and tells his wife that the talks he had with some religious persons made him a complete man. 

However his real self comes out when he hears about Kani’s good-looking patient Amudhanila (Anjali) and her 'inability' to give birth to a child. Ravi's evil mind springs back to life as his urge to have sex with Amudha increases. He gets close to her pretending to be the doctor’s assistant.

Ravi almost succeeds in making Amudha believe that he had the 'solution' to ‘cure’ her problem. How Amudha is saved and how Kani treats her sex-maniac husband is what the script is all about.

Vayuputhra (2010)

Vayuputhran aka Muthu (Arjun) comes out of the prison with a promise to his jailmate Bala (Prem) that he would take care of his ailing brother Sathish, who is about to undergo a surgery.

After visiting Sathish in the hospital, Muthu goes to Vallakottai (from where he gets an assignment) to earn money. His job is to surrender for the murder of Eswarapandian (Suresh), the jameen of Vallakottai, which is to be committed by Eswarapandian’s archrivals Nachiyar (Ashish Vidyarthi) and his brother Sethupathi (Vincent Asokan).

At Vallakottai, Muthu meets Anjali (Haripriya) and Veera Sangili (Ganja Karuppu). As scenes unfold, he falls for Anjali and also comes to know that Eswarapandian is harmless and Nachiyar is the one who is to be punished.

Even as acting as a servant of Nachiyar, Muthu wears different getups in the name of Vayuputhran and teaches a lesson or two to the baddies. In the meantime, Bala gets released from prison and what follows is a twist.

Kurralloy Kurrallu (2011)

Ramesh (Atharva) is a plus-two student and he is crazy about flying kites and is always in the company of friends including a much senior Kumar (Karnas).  He falls in love with a fashion Technocology student, Samantha.

Priya manages to trace Ramesh. After a few ruffled encounters, it ends up in their friendship as Ramesh returns the pen drive, which was found in his pocket when his mother was about to wash his clothes. Realising that he is in love with her, Ramesh goes to propose Priya. 

More trouble awaits Ramesh as he witnesses the killing of an ex-MLA committed by local goon Ravi (Prasanna) who is basically a good-natured youth, who warns Ramesh to leave the place and go elsewhere. As a businessman who wanted him to send to Gujarat to take part in kite flying contest, Ramesh leaves for Gujarat. 

Priya"s friend reveals Ramesh"s love towards her and he wanted to present a key chain with the names of Priya and Ramesh engraved on rice. Realising her folly, Priya goes in search of Ramesh and finds that he left for Gujarat and reaches there. But Ramesh refuses to accept her apologies.

Simham Puli (2012)

This film involves two characters both played by Jiiva. Siva is a fisherman and does good things while on the other hand, Ashok is a lawyer, womanizer, and does bad things. At one point Ashok kills a girl with whom he made love. By certain amount of doubt, his brother Siva drags Ashok to court, where Ashok uses his professional knowledge to escape out of the case.

However, Siva finds out that Ashok is behind the murder of the girl. Siva confronts Ashok. Ashok hires goons to kill Siva. In a predictable climax Ashok gets killed and Siva unites with his childhood love.

Simha Puthrudu (2012)

Raj Kiran, landlord who is also the most respected person in the village. He is a do-gooder who commands respect from all and is feared the most by his enemies. Dhanush is his loyal son, who always does the right things at the right time and sees his father as his role model. Prakash Raj, the local MLA, who has risen to his position mostly because of the influence enjoyed by Raj Kiran in the region. Prakash Raj doesn't share the good motives of Raj Kiran. He has come into politics to enjoy power and earn lot of money. Raj Kiran tries to correct him, but the MLA has no intention to listen to him. At the same time, he cannot afford to ignore Raj Kiran. Meanwhile,Raj Kiran, who has many enemies because of his strictness, wants to protect his son from them. So he sends him to his uncle who lives in Trichy.

Dhanush meets his childhood friend Tamannaah. Dhanush tries to revive the friendship, but the girl avoids him. Dhanush pursues her and expresses his love. Tamannaah responds positively after a lot of hesitation. Prakash Raj tries to eliminate Dhanush, to tame his father. Though Dhanush tries to avoid any confrontation to satisfy his father, he is forced to take the sickle soon. He defeats Prakash Raj's plans. This incident makes Prakash Raj more furious. He manages to become a minister and uses his power to insult Raj Kiran. Dhanush defuses his efforts and Prakash Raj is ready for final show down. Dhanush is ready to face anything to save his father.

Love Journey (2012)

Rajesh (Jai) is a regular college-going guy from a middle-class family. He is a mamma's boy with a thing for happy endings. He maintains a peculiar diary in which he keeps a note of all things that go wrong in his life but not before giving them a happy ending. He is smitten with the pretty Anu, whom he falls for over a couple of random interactions.

A shy guy by nature, he doesn't quite have the courage to express his feelings for her. Even as he is figuring out a way, Koushik (Vijay) enters the fray. Not only does Koushik fall in love with Anu, he also takes the lead and goes all out to woo her. Who does the girl choose? That is the crux of the film.

Journey (2011)

 Journey is primarily a story set in two bus journeys. One is an APSRTC bus that leaves from Vijayawada to Hyderabad and the other is a private bus that leaves from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. The movie is about the lives of the people who are fated to travel in those two buses. The principal characters in the movie are Goutham (Sharwanand), Amrutha (Ananya), Krishna (Jai) and Madhumati (Anjali). Goutham comes across Amrutha and is forced to help her as she is a helpless village girl stranded in Hyderabad without a proper address. They develop a mutual affection for each other rather reluctantly, but they do not convey their feelings.

Krishna on the other hand, is a shy and reclusive youngster who has a crush on Madhumathi. He is a very ‘good boy’ who does not smoke or drink. Infact, he drinks just milk! It is upto Madhumati to take control of things and she manages to win the approval of the elders on both sides.

Fate has a cruel twist in store for them. Amrutha gets onto the bus going from Hyderabad to Vijayawada while Goutham, Krishna and Madhumita get onto the bus travelling from Vijayawada to Hyderabad. What is that cruel twist? What ending does fate have in store for them? That is the story.

Puliveta (2011)

Ravi (Vijay) lives in Tuticorin. He aspires to become a policeman like his idol, Police Officer Devaraj IPS(Srihari). After completing his higher education, he joins a college in Chennai, and also earns a living by driving an auto rickshaw. During the course, he meets Suseela (Anushka Shetty) and falls in love with her instantly. With the help of her grandmother, he succeeds in winning Suseela's heart.

Soon, Ravi comes across a local thug, Chella (Ravishankar), who tries to play spoilsport in the life of his classmate Uma (Sanchita Padukone). Ravi comes to her defense and defeats Chella, hospitalizing him. His troubles start as Chella's father, a criminal don named Vedanayakam (Salim Ghouse), with the help of corrupt cop Kattabomman (Sayaji Shinde), begins to create havoc in Ravi's life. Ravi himself is thrown in jail, and only Suseela is willing to actively help him. As Ravi turns to his mentor Devaraj for help, he shockingly learns that Devaraj's family has died at the hands of Vedanayakam and that Devaraj himself has been blinded and is helpless. It is at this stage that Ravi takes up a new persona called "Police" Ravi to clean up the illegal activities of Vedanayakam and instill hope in the public, something that Devaraj was unable to do.

In the process, however, Vedanayakam kills Ravi's close friend (Sathyan), prompting Ravi to kill Chella in retribution. Vedanayakam decides soon after to become a minister, knowing that it is the only way to put a stop to Ravi's activities. As Ravi finally plans to kill Vedanayakam, knowing the danger of him becoming a minister, the police arrive to arrest Ravi. However, Ravi sees Devaraj in the crowd and announces Vedanayakam's location to him just as he is being arrested, allowing Devaraj to shoot and kill Vedanayakam, effectively taking his revenge.

In the end, Devraj is re-instituted into the police force and agrees to make Ravi a police officer. However, Ravi states that he does not need to become one, for he has found the police officer within himself and that is all he needs to succeed in life. The film ends as Ravi happily leaves with Suseela and his friends.
